Michael Hafftka

Michael Hafftka é um artista visual nascido em Manhattan, no ano de 1953. Tem sua obra comentada por importantes críticos de arte norte-americanos, entre eles Sam Hunter, professor emérito de História da Arte da Princeton University e John Caldwell, Curador do Carnegie Institute Museum of Art, nos catálogos da Galeria DiLaurenti, da Carnegie Mellon University e The Housatonic Museum of Art.
Inicia sua carreira de artista visual, no ano de 1973, em Israel, onde serviu na força voluntária no final da guerra do Yom Kippur. Em 1975 retornou a Nova York, onde vive até hoje, no Brooklyn.
